Royal Oak School is excited that the Winter Olympics are finally here! To celebrate the start of the Olympics and the opening ceremonies we are asking that on Friday students wear red or team Canada clothing to show their support to our amazing athletes competing in Pyeong Chang. Go Team Canada!! Our Winter Olympic unit in Phys.Ed will include several activities that are included in the Winter Olympic games. Students will be learning about the many sports that are included in the games. We will also be tracking the gold, silver and bronze medals that our Canadian athletes win and discussing the many exciting accomplishments of our Canadian Olympic team.
